When you use 2040 Vision’s services, limited information is collected about you based on what you choose to share with us.

Information Learned From your Use of 2040 Vision:

Use of the Services: There are a number of ways that you can affirmatively share personal information with 2040 Vision. For example, by completing a web form, submitting a forum post, or opting in to receive emails from us. 2040 Vision currently utilizes Google Analytics to compile data about our website and our users. We aggregate this information to measure the number of visits to our sites, the average time spent on our sites, the number of pages viewed, and various other site statistics. How We Share Your Information with Others

By default, we will show your name and donation amount on the 2040 Vision website when you make a donation, although you may choose to make this information private by adjusting your privacy settings on the page you view after making a donation. The URL for this page is also sent via e-mail to the address you provide during the donation process. Otherwise, we will not share any personal information we have collected from you, except as described below:

Cookies

This website does not store any information that would, on its own, allow us to identify individual users of this service without their permission. Any cookies that may be used by this website are used either solely on a per session basis or to maintain user preferences. Cookies are not shared with any third parties.

Sharing Content with Third Party Services

The 2040 Vision site offers access to a variety of social networking services such as Twitter or Facebook. Users are responsible for the content they choose to share, and are bound by the respective terms of service and privacy policy for each social networking service.

Accessing Your Information

If you would like 2040 Vision to delete your personal information that has been collected, please contact us or send your request to support@2040vision.org. We will take steps to delete your information as soon as is practicable, but some information may remain in archived/backup copies for our records and as otherwise required by law.

We employ administrative, physical and electronic measures designed to protect your information from unauthorized access. However, despite those efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against any interception or other type of misuse.

Removal of Information from Children

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected the personal information of a child under 13, we will take steps to delete the information as soon as possible.

Any information collected is subject to our Privacy Policy at the time such information is collected. We may, however, modify and revise our Privacy Policy from time-to-time.
